For those of you who had the wonderful opportunity of wearing braces, either in middle school or high school, there was a reason why your dentist said, "Wear your retainers as much as possible or your teeth will move." Yelp, I heard the lecture but just didn't abide by it!
Now, I'm 29 years old and have six, clear brackets on my top, front teeth! I've had the clear before and you really don't notice them so I'm not sweating the 4-6 month period of moving the teeth. Thank goodness I have excellent insurance to cover the cost! I just thought I would share my day as I'm reminiscing back to high school in the area of dentistry! Cheers to the brace face! HA!

Oh, I feel your pain! I was one of those who didn't wear her retainer like she was supposed to and had to pay the price for it a couple of years ago! I went with the Invisalign. Not fun but worth it! I wear my retainer to bed every night now. Getting braces again at 29 was one thing but I will not be getting my third set at 50! :)
Don't forget I had the adult braces as well my friend. Not fun, but certainly worth it! I had no idea you were even thinking about braces again!!!
wow-this has nothing to do with your post but i was on google and noticed another person with the same name as me-I am also Brooke Elswick. I have never met another elswick outside of my own family, very cool. just thought i would tell you, good luck with the braces :)
